Can we talk about how fucking awesome Eartha Kitt was right? Okay. So like as kid she grew up on a cotton plantation poor as fuck during the 1920’s, she had no idea who her farther was, but it was presumed to be the plantation owners son. When she was around 5-7 her Mother gave her away for a better life, after being refused to be taken by a family friend for being “too pale”.

In the 1940’s she was singing in Paris nightclubs and releasing loads of records and her career sky-rocketed. She ended up playing Catwoman in the original tv series, played Helen of troy on stage, was in quite a few musicals and became a huge celebrity.

Shit went down though in the 60’s, when she was invited to the white house for lunch and when asked on her opinion of the Vietnam war and was all like “It’s fucking stupid guys”. And when she was asked to apologize she was like fuck no.

And rather than respect her freedom of speech she was blacklisted in america and couldn’t find any work and no-one would work with her because the presidency didn’t like her. So she went to Europe and kept on doing her thang.

Only married once, after her divorce she continued to be an awesome mother and had spree’s of numerous lovers like a total glam-bitch.

After her “exile” she released a load of awesome songs in the 80’s and usually had smokin’ hot guys in her videos and on stage with her because fuck you female sexuality that’s why. And upon finding out she had loads of gay fans, she did loads of charity gigs for HIV/AIDS and has been a long time supporter of gay rights.

Oh yeah and she performed well, well into her old age. And then decided to voice Yzma in the Emporer’s new Groove.

R.I.P to one of my greatest fucking idols.
